Everything I am proud of in life has come from you in some way or another so without having the right words to tell you how “I really did win the best mom out there award”… I decided to go with the proof in the pictures…
Your love for Tucker and Milly as if they were your real “grandchildren” is unreal! You always make sure you bring them a present every time you come to visit to make them feel extra special! I can’t count how many times i have walked into a room and you are deep in “conversation” laying on the floor with one of them giving them extra special time or the number of times you and dad have volunteered or driven out of town just to babysit them so that Alex and I can be worry free on any and every vacation…
For all the memories you helped create, the traditions that will be passed down to our own families, the family vacations you were overly prepared for and packed way too much for, for the special occasions you always made certain to make extra special and super BIG deals, for the time we spend together in the kitchen baking up Pinterest recipes, or the times you single handedly whipped up huge meals to cater to any crazy “diet” any of us have ever been on or any amount of people we have invited to join us at dinner without warning you ;)
We love you for the sentimental gifts you go out of your way planning ahead of time to have for us, the way you love my husband and essentially raised my husband as if he were your very own, your way of remembering every specific detail of what is important to everyone of us, your patience and resourcefulness when it comes to being a mom and solving every problem we could ever create…..
You ALWAYS know how to make the best out of any situation!
For the way you love your own mother endlessly and patiently constantly recalling all the fun memories you had with her and your dad..
For our fun times out drinking Margaritas, laughing until we cry with “rain bags” on our head determined to get good shopping time in together, eating way too much Mexican food when we’re together and of course dessert, to you driving across 3 states just to go on a 2 night business trip with me so I wouldn’t be alone…
For the way you have always supported every dream and aspiration we have ever had to make us feel like we are “good” at everything we try and we can accomplish everything in the world!
You have a way of walking into a room and making everyone you come across feel like they are the most important person in the world, I guess that’s why i am so spoiled huh?!?!
I will take the “spoiled” title if it means I get you as my mother any day! Thanks for being the best mom out there and proving I really do win the award!!
