Trick or Treat!

Gigi and I (and Lola) had a little too much fun decorating for our big night of Trick or Treating (and I’m obsessed with the Day of the Dead decorations everywhere this year!)

It was Lola’s idea to do the little snack bags of our fall mix which turned out to be the best idea because we had a snack while we walked (and never ate a real dinner)!

Jadyn showed up, walked in the door and just stopped and starred at me. Naturally waiting for one of my dramatic responses…I about fell on the floor from her cuteness. I have never seen a cuter tutu.

She was set on being a cowgirl until I bought myself this witch hat the day before Halloween… she slowly started taking it over and then fully claimed it so we ran back to get another one on the day of! Two witches it is (of course she already had the witch costume)!

She insisted on doing the last couple of houses by herself and told me exactly where to wait for her….

Next year we may come home early just so she can answer the door! She LOVED waiting for trick or treater’s  and kept asking if their would be more…. naturally we dressed daddy up and snuck him out to play trick or treat  a few times before calling it a night!

BUT WAIT!

I somehow forgot about Sissy’s Gymastics Halloween and look HOW CUTE she was!

I can’t stand it! Ok for real moving on to November!

Woohoo!

Halloween or so I thought…

Apparently we did a lot more leading up to Halloween than I had originally thought! Sister has no shortage of costumes and I have to say mom has at minimum tripled her wardrobe for next year.

We also had our second day of school.

Or tried to…

She would NOT let me leave and after about an hour of bribes and failed attempts I finally left and drove like a bat out of hell to my hair appointment (in which my hair dresser had shown up earlier than her scheduled shift to fit me in).

Thankfully Alex worked from “home” AKA a coffee shop right next to her school that day so I called and told him they may call you… the school had promised to call if she continued to cry for 20 minutes.

About 20 minute later I got a text he was on his way to get her and before he could even check her out the school she told him she wanted to do it again next week.

He also sent me this picture about 5 minutes later.

Its sounds silly but I truly felt so helpless (and selfish) stuck in the salon chair getting my hair done while my baby girl was so upset so this truly made me feel better!I raced to get her from daddy, wet hair and all , so he coud get back to work! he was quite content.

Obviously.

…and the next week when they actually encouraged the kids to dress up… its ok Lo we’re just ahead of the game!Who’s in charge.. yes, we know Lola.

We also did a round of pre-trick or treat with bot grama’s as little red riding hood too!

I can’t even handle her cuteness!

Halloween eve and we raced to carve pumpkins! Lola was so pumped with her new utensils until she saw the inside…Whew finally made it to Halloween day!

We raced out the door to get some last minute touches for the night!

I have been MIA for so long but it appears I have now (prematurely) hit the nocturnal stage of pregnancy! So it’s 1am and I’m doing my best making up for lost time!
