I think my new favorite hobby is tracking snow storms!! I have honestly never been so addicted! 
Let’s be honest the snow is nice and all but can I get an ALTERIOR MOTIVE!?!?!?
Oh yes, getting stuck at home with these two!!
The picture above was Friday evening just as we started to see our first snowflakes before going to dinner!
We were so excited but it was short lived, the next morning i had all thawed and dissapeared!
Tuesday morning we woke up to a winter wonderland- so naturaly we played hookey! I have been waking up before Lola lately and I rolled over to look at the video monitor of outside and saw nothing but WHITE covering the ground! 
I couldn’t stand it…. I went and woke Lola up to show her the snow!
She couldn’t wait to finish eating breakfast to go join Tucker and Milly in the snow! 
Don’t judge me that I still had some of her decorations up… yes they have now been removed thanks to three days of being at home and finally playing catch up to all things neglected- aka my life, house, husband, self etc.!
Just like every year when we typically get our annual snow… Tj and Mill get SO excited and frisky! Then it usually turns into a fight…. bless them!
Lola wasn’t so sure about walking on the snow so every chance she got she just walked to me and would fall into my arms… it certainly made it challenging to take pictures of her… she either wanted to be held or to hold my hand or lean on Tucker!

Daddy swore he wasn’t getting in a picture this early in the morning… HA!

I love our house when it snows! 
Lola decided to go test out the neighbors hills- and if you know our neighbors… they aren’t too friendly… brave little girl she is! 
Ok back to our danger zone of a yard to explore! 
As soon as we brought Lola in for a snack this is what she does!!
The snow was done for the day until the next afternoon when another big storm was on it’s way so we thought we better make it out while we can to stock up on groceries! 
…. and you know everything is an adventure with my girl! 
Daddy hasn’t been grocery shopping with us for the last couple of weeks and boy do things change from week to week!
I told him she may want to help him pick out his cereal…. I was right but I don’t think he fully understood what that meant! 
One shoe down…. pure trash i tell ya.
Back in the cart you go wild woman! 
We made it home and Lola wanted to check out the snow situation…. mama was more interested in this whole nap situation! 
We waited on the snow that night and morning but didn’t get any! It was expected to come around 2 so at noon Daddy Lou and I decided to make a last minute decision to grab a quick bite of Mexican before possibly being stuck in the house for another few days! So we raced to get our fix in!
Just as we were leaving and paying i looked out the window to see the BIGGEST snow flakes ever! They literally looked like snowballs falling from the sky!
We raced home and while Lola napped I cooked and baked and watched the snow fall- it was honestly the most beautiful thing ever!
These few days home with my little family was all i needed!
Daddy tried to get us a sleigh before Lola woke up since we had at least 2 inches of snow but all the stores were closed so as soon as Lola woke up which was almost 5!!!
We settled for Daddy Lou’s version of a sled… a Tupperware box lid and a rope! I will never say that the boy can’t improvise!
Sadly it started to sprinkle just as Lola had gotten up and the sun was quickly going down… so we called it quits, bundled up and headed inside!
The next day daddy decided he better head into work after two full days home with us- we LOVED every bit of it and I squeezed in one more day of being home with the girl since my schools were still closed!
Lola and I were sad it was over but were SO happy it happened! Thank you snow storm of 2015, you came just when i needed you the most and you gave me the greatest gift of all!
