After our big morning, noon and night beach day (in Beach Week Part 1) we decided the next day to change it up a bit…. By “we” I mean I over heard a conversation between daddy and Lola a breakfast (while playing with a lighthouse at the condo) where Daddy asked “Do you want to go see a real lighthouse today Lola?”
Well, Off we go.
As soon as we pulled into Sea Pines we had to pass the stables! Naturally that soon became our first stop! Lola LOVES horses and we were so excited to see they had an ENTIRE petting Zoo and offered pony rides!
Little Lola was carrying the “Lighthouse” brochure the security guard gave us as soon as we got there and I had to eventually convince her to let me hold it… lol
This is the same stables Daddy used to come to as a little boy growing up since their horses were boarded here- he says a lot has changed but it brought back a lot of fun memories!
He was in heaven showing everything to Lola!
(Including the goat she ran up to before we could catch her that tried t eat her dress! She thought it was hilarious!)
Pont ride time! Two little boys went in front of her and she was so excited to finally say “it’s my turn”!
The trainer gave Lola a ladybug at the end of her ride and she was in heaven!
Those lips deserve ALL the heart eye emoji’s…
You can imagine how long we sat here… Sister found a KITTY CAT! Seriously can this day get any better!?!?
We had a BIG lunch after the stables and apparently it was just a day meant for wildlife… we saw one of the largest alligators I have ever seen on Hilton Head! It was between 6 and 7 foot long (and way too close for comfort)!
After lunch we moved along to our original mission: The lighthouse!
I believe it was 114 steps and sister did every last one of them herself- she insisted!
The top was SO windy! ike any good 2 year old as soon as we got to the top she looked over and sked “mama how they get down there”… I told her they just hadn’t come up yet(regarding random people walking around)… she then said “mama I go down there”.
Of course you do baby.
Thankfully her daddy has the patience of a saint…. 
We conquered it, the day of the lighthouse!
