We spent the long weekend soaking up some sun, avoiding sand storms, spending time with family and celebrating two sweet girls birthday…. Tara’s 28th and Julians 5th!
Julians Birthday party was Saturday, the day after Alex got home from Germany so he was still a bit out of it but what a perfect excuse to have a catch up family reunion!
Yes, I’m selfish in my thoughts- back to Julian turning 5!
I know cutie pie, hard to believe isn’t it!
I know it’s hard for your mama to believe….I was so proud of Amber for not being a bag of tears all day!
I think Julian thought it was a regular party until present time :)
That got her attention ;)
Julian is such a swimmer now, I think she came out the water for presents and cake then it was immediately back to the water!
Cake time! 
When I took the “family picture I realized, oh my goodness where has baby Avery been”? She was such a good baby during the party we forgot to include her during cake time… no worries she was only napping! But i wanted to brag on her too.. baby Avery is getting so big now, she can hold up her head for pictures now!
Oh yeah and if she wasn’t tiny enough we had to compare her to the biggest dog every: Hemmy!
Christie, Julians Aunt, hosted Julians birthday party again this year and Alex and I absolutely love their property!
Oh yes, and I think I have convinced Rachel too!

I was so proud of Julian for holding her nose underwater and actually swimming while under so I managed to take a short video but after downloading it, it’s a bit shaky but enjoy!
Happy 5th Birthday Julian!! We love you and were so thrilled to celebrate another birthday with you and now your new baby sister!
We all headed to Hilton Head after the party and Alex actually requested (crazy i know) to stop in down town Bluffton to eat and it was- as he and my mom promised- adorable!
We found an amazing BBQ place and had enough of the “polite party eating”… it was time to get down to business!
That night we enjoyed some Fire Fly’s with bob and Jane and prayed for the tropical storm (that came just in time for memorial weekend) to dissipate! 
Ok so maybe Alex was secretly praying for the storm come and make big fun waves so they could bring out their 80’s beach boards (literally)…
This was probably the worst day for the beach ever, sand and wind was blowing so hard the life guard stand was one scream away from falling right on us… eventually we called it quits and what do ya know, the sun came out!
No worries, nothing in the world could keep me from visiting my babies!
Hi Ana, my number one blog follower!!
The boys had their favorite, Hilton Head ice cream and Ana and I opted for Ritas (because we’re twins ya know)! 
Ana is such the shopper, wonder where she got that from? 
I miss my babies so much and them getting bigger and bigger only makes me more depressed but I couldn’t be happier when I’m with them! Baby sitting those kids was some of the happiest days of my life…. it was hardly a job at all, it was like hanging out with your side kick all day, she just happened to be 2 feet tall!
Miss you my baby girl, and grown Alex, love ya’ll!
That night wm ate some of the best food ever at Bob and Jane’s…. Ribs and Mac and Cheese! 
We ended the weekend with the last birthday girl’s celebration, Tara!
I’m pretty sure we had more food prepared than Thanksgiving and Tara and I’s only hope was to make it through the appetizers and still being hungry!
Mom was definitely on her A game for the birthday celebration as always! 
Tucker and Milly in their little piece of Heaven..
Tucker is more of a rider in the golf cart, that and he loves to sit with the girls! 
The longer I wait to post this the longer it gets!
I do have to say though we continued the party after getting back to Atlanta with this little missy:
That was a give away right, who else do i stock up on blueberry muffin (batter only of course) and cookie dough ice cream!?!?!?
Oh yes, Kayla was in town and although it was only for the night she will be back again this weekend!!!!
We were so excited, so we all got together for a pizza place Jeff knew about that was BYOB… how can you go wrong!?!?
Also a congrats is in order…. Andrew got a job and signed a lease in Atlanta!!! Our Atlanta family is growing and I couldn’t be more excited!!
Yayyy for Andrew (and Alex)! 
That’s all, I hope your Memorial Weekend was as happy as these two kids above and if not maybe the picture of these pups will make it that much better!
