I say Finally when really for me, I could wait on it forever ever since Lola’s been born. I LOVE living in the anticipation of it all through her eyes! Sefish I know, I just LOVE everything bout the holidays with this girl!
So here is our re-cap from Christmas at Gigi and Poppy’s!
We finally headed out and made it home all to go to a last minute Liquor store run on Christmas Eve.
How trashy are we? A two year old and a prego on Christmas Eve.
I needed proof that this really happened.
We had a busy night of baking and cooking that night for Hoho an Lola just could not get enough “materials”! She got over the sprinkles and we started digging for candy, toothpicks, peppermints etc
Smothered and covered?
This was the last night Lola actually felt good and thankfully we unknowingly took advantage of it!
What a night!
Dancing, eating and decorating!
Is there anything more magical than falling asleep with a two year old on Christmas Eve?
Poor Sister woke up not feeling well but she powered through! She went straight for the wedding dress and didn’t take it off for the rest of the weekend!
She saw these babies and instantly said “like Neyney babies”!
Her Christmas present from Lou and I was signing her up for DANCE! So we got her a bunch of dance outfits…. could she look any cuter!?!?This child!
Gigi and Poppy got us all Kayaks for the lake and Lou just had to go ahead and test one out!
Isn’t she just pitiful, poor thing.
Oh if this table could talk…
I think I got her out of the outfit for about 5 minutes and then it went right back on!
I swore my belly was non-existent the day before going to moms…. we even had a doctor appointment the day before leaving and they said I needed to hurry and gain some more weight because I was under (shocking I know) WELL, after just 3-4 days there- it popped!
I think this was 22 weeks (bless this second baby, I don’t keep up nearly as well)!
We packed up our popped belly and presents from Hoho and headed back to pack up our house!
Naturally Sissy was sick the whole time we were gone and as soon as we got home she was on the mend to her perky little self! I will say anytime she has been sick she may be pitiful but she is SUCH a trooper (with everything but taking medicine- JUST like her mama)!
Next year we will have a 7 month old for Christmas!
Merry Christmas Love the GROWING Minnicks Family!
