December 1st we had a fun little visitor come back from last year….. ALFIE!!!!
She had a trail of streamers leading from her room to the den with a picture from him and a gingerbread house to decorate…. she had the look above on her face for so long… this child is wise beyond her years.
She is very logical and always thinking thing through…
Thankfully that little girl seeps through to make mamas heart dance and she ran straight to the kitchen to make her gingerbread house- before breakfast… I guess I didn’t think that one through..
I swear this red tractor was her favorite thing ever!
They even had supplies for our little artist to decorate our tree trunk!
….and hayrides, very bumpy hayrides!
These two were so proud of their tree!
Notice Lola decorated the rear windshield wiper with her tree trunk ornament…. and is this picture (below) not the best lol
We headed to diner that night and when sisters hears the word rain… honey it’s just one more thing to accessorize with!
She loves soaking up her Uncle B time!
Haircut day before seeing Hoho!
She was SO excited to see Chloe!
After!
…and have you ever seen something so tiny and so cute!?!?
Me neither.
I was so proud of her she actually sat with him this year AND told him what she wanted!
She actually got really upset afterwards because she forgot to ask Santa for the wedding dress but thankfully we were able to sneak back over to him and put in our request!
Then it was on to some serious shopping! Naturally I ended up doing most of it after we got home on Amazon because well…. Lola’s two.
The picture below is HORRIBLE of me but I told Alex “snap it! snap it!” because for no reason at all she just grabbed around my neck, put her check up to mine and held this pose for the longest time!
What can I say, a day of full shopping and no nap is a dream for sister!
Then we had company to get ready for (Jammy and Nutty were coming to stay) and Sister had to make sure we had enough sprinkles o EACH cookies for everyone for our little Minnicks Christmas party!
So naturally she put herself in charge.
(I swear she looks like my mommom here- hair included)
Oh and she had to have her baby covered up in the car seat while she baked…. her mothers child.
I forgot to take a picture until company arrived and chaos had begun but you get the idea!
This new caramel apple heath bar dip was my favorite and a little TOO easy!
Above is Lola’s nutcracker from Grandma and below is the Tonka Truck Jammy and Nutty brought for her that was Daddy’s when he was little!
Little Ollie let us all get some good baby love practice in that night!
The next morning Lola got some one on one time with her Nutty and Jammy while Daddy Lou was at work!
Jammy was our architect nd Lola and I were the interior designers- we made a pretty good team and they were so proud of their finished product!
That night we decided to take Lola ice skating for the first time at the square! She always LOVES to go watch but has never done it…. turns out she was actually really good at it!
I about died when I saw her in her little skates!!
Daddy was of course in full daddy mode and declared this his thing with her… yet again.
He got her all ready and while I got his skates and when I turned around Lola was out their with Nutty taking her first lap!!
I didn’t capture a picture of it since I was in line getting daddy’s skates but we were all in shock and SO proud!
Is this not the cutest thing you have ever seen!
Lola was not happy to be leaving….she loved it!
I plan to do a full bump update with the past few months (especially now that I have POPPED) but I couldn’t resist just this one!
We had been so, so busy and were going home for Christmas which I knew would be even busier! Sharing my babies has never been something I am good at so I selfishly am enjoying this one a little more styling inside and hoarding him and his little kicks all to myself!
I love sending daddy these middle of the night bump pics when I can’t sleep so he has something to wake up to in the morning!
Moving right along!
Christmas at Gigi and Poppy’s coming up!
