We arrived just as the sun was setting and we literally raced to our rooms to change and ran out to the pool!
It was so beautiful (and heated) and they could not wait to jump in! I sat and watched literally making a list of all the things I forgot to get… it was so cold when we left Atlanta I didn’t even bring our pool bag (including her puddle jumper). I have no clue what I was thinking. So I literally sat and made a Target list for the next day!
Day 1 a trip to target and 250$ later we know own a duplicate of everything that was in our pool bag in Atlanta.
Oh and I caught her non stop with that hand and hip action..
How cue is this?!?! She was SO excited to be swimming again!
It was the coolest day there so we taught Sister the love of a hot tub… she actually ended u getting in at least once each day we were there!
We were literally just saying “ahhhhh” the whole time we were there! It was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had in I can’t even remember when!
Anytime she would get a little boost of confidence that little had would go right to the hip- especially when she ate! It was so hilarious but we had to act like we didn’t notice or she would stop so I kept trying to sneak my phone our to capture it!
That night we took the fairy from our resort to Universals City walk- it was SO nice not having to drive anywhere! Lola loved the fairy rides and she loved City Walk!
She hugged my belly that whole night for some reason..
You can always tell when she is genuinely excited to be in a picture (or to just be somewhere)!
We ventured through Hard Rock Cafe to show Lola “guitars on the walls” (it was the only think I could think of that was guaranteed to be there and that would be interesting for her before going in)..
Then we had to visit the Chocolate Factory and Gigi was lucky and of the chocolate actually made it home to her!
The other side of the bridge was full of little souvenir shops (yes Lola needed one of everything every other kid had) and more restaurants! We eventually settled down to at at Margaritaville!
She was so tired to even eat dinner that night but caught a second wind just as we were leaving and ended up making her way to the stage/dance floor…
We also spent Valentines Day there (thanks to Daddy Lou for remembering)!
Baby Moon part II coming up!
