Poor Daddy Lou he was so excited that he remembered and was prepared for Lola and I’s Valentines day that he put everything out a night early for us to wake up to… thankfully I got up in the middle of the night to pee (and tripped over the little set up he had out for Lola) so I was able to “notify” him of the slip up before Lola knew about it… SO the next morning he had a little re-do and Lola was SO excited to wake up to chocolate, goodies and a teddy bear from her favorite Valentine- daddy!
So Happy Valentines Day to my Lou and Lo, we had a busy day planned!
Lola and I got ready ahead of Daddy Lou and ran down to the pool to find our favorite spot!
Is she not the cutest little cabana girl… and notice she is carrying my shoes!
Perks to having to re-buy everything that was already in your pool bag--- new goggles!
Thankfully Daddy Lou arrived just in time after we got all set up so mama could do her most favorite thing on vacation ever (since owning a child at least)- SIT DOWN.
This child could care less for a banana but she strutted her stuff all over the pool deck eating it that day!
“He” may just be my favorite new summer accessory!
I think 7 months is the favorite time of pregnancy! It gets so real! You finally have a bump to show off, you are still really comfortable and meeting your little one seems so close you can smell it!
Sissy needed a bump picture taken for herself too!
That night we celebrated Valentines day the way we have the last 3 years since we brought the girl home… all together!
Don’t you love sisters crossed legs!
We had the yummiest dinner date and then ice cream… sissy likes to make me nervous ordering BLUE ice cream with a white MJ jacket…. thanks Lo.
and bedtime looked a lot like our dinner date too lol
Oh yes… all 4 of us in one bed!
Our last pool day was not lacking in the accessory department…
I mean is she not to die for?
Ok so by day two the inside of my belly button literally got burned- from being so stretched flat… it was so red and hurt so bad!
Lola literally mastered swimming on day 2 of our trip with Daddy Lou!
Lola loved watching Daddy slide!
I don’t know what’s sweeter those lips or that ginormous belly!
Daddy Lou’s next job may be a bump photographer!
I just love her mommying heart- look how she takes such care of lovie…
We headed in to get freshened up for our date night and yet again had perfect timing- we never once waited on the ferry! It was always waiting on us!
Oh and Sissy added the scarf herself for dinner!
(It was adorable except for the fact it covered up the entire thing we had going on with the dress mom had made for her just for the trip!
(Thanks Lo-isn’t it cute)!
Poor Lola, Daddy Lou got a Pina Colada frozen drink on the way to dinner and Lola swore it was a slushie he wasn’t giving her. We told her ten times it was “spicy” and not for her but that we would get her a real slushie… so at dinner I ordered her a virgin strawberry daquiri and literally while I wasn’t looking to order she snuck his drink and had a sip.
She started SCREAMING crying we thought she bit her tongue (it was an awful Pina Colada- I tried it).
Poor baby, I think from now on she will believe us!
What a night!
Sorry for the over-board of belly pics! I didn’t get to be pregnant in the summer at all with Lola and will barely be pregnant in the summer with baby Lox so I was a little snap happy!
There has also been such a difference in this pregnancy.. I was SO happy with Lola obviously but really I just wanted her here. With all we have been through with getting this far in this pregnancy it has really made me slow down and enjoy the actual pregnancy more…. I just adore this bump!
Part III coming up!
