Yes, I have been MIA but can I just say besides pregnancy and/while chasing around a two year old…..We sold our house!!!
We had a feeing it would go fast but we had no idea it would be this fast! Either way, we are on the hunt for another place to call home and in the mean time have moved into a tiny but adorable little apartment (that Lola NEVER wants to leave or move out of)!
Soooooo, do people celebrate no longer being a home owner?
Don’t get me wrong we LOVED our home (pieces of it) for many reason… this sweet nursery was obviously our top love! We brought our baby girl home to this room and I remember countless nights being pregnant with her and having insomnia where all I would do is sit in her room and rock in the middle of the night.
I remember her sitting in her bumbo on the island and eating lemon for the first time, learning how to smack her lips and eating oatmeal for the first time!
One thing we oved most when we moved in was the outdoor space… turns out that was the number one reason we have wanted to move for the last wo years!
So we said goodbye to out very first home we ever owner together. We had a lot of good times and some sad times too in that home. Those walls saw a lot in 4 years. We will miss that being the last home Tucker lived in with us. I remember the last time he “Tucker greeted” us at the front door and seconds later saying goodbye to him in the living room.
We will cherish bringing our first baby home to that house, losing our second baby in that house and telling my family we were pregnant with our third baby in that house.
With another baby on the way we knew it was a matter of time before we had to move out and find something that suits us better so on that note…
We are so glad the move is behind us!
We are getting settled in out little apartment while looking for another home! Lola and I are on the hunt for new rock picture opportunities and mama is hoping baby boy doesn’t come before we find a new place!
PS: Notice the snow above in sissy’s last rock picture- it was a blessing and a curse. I had secretly hoped for one last snow day in our home before we had to move out and boy did it come!
I will post about that asap once I get caught up but boy did it make moving a BITCH. We had ice for days and so did the storage unit and our apartment we were moving into!
It. was. hell.
We will always have a special place for you in our memories Milstead!
On to the next!
