This weekend snuck up on us and felt like it started early since Aunt Taytay came up to visit late Thursday night for the weekend! You didn’t really think she would get any work done on Friday attempting to work from home now did you? We had a chickfila date and our mind was fluttered with pinterest ideas! We had two Hobby Lobby trips and two good will trips all before Margaritas Friday night!
We had a big list of things we had picked out for daddy Lou to pick up from Goodwill when he got off work Friday!
Don’t you love this hutch!?!
It was 20$ :)
( I think I’m going to go with turquoise again!)
I loved the shape of this baby changing table too!
We put on all our ideas on hold for the moment because two things were much more pressing: Jadyn and margaritas!
Who knew the baby really would be the easiest (ok I did)!
Lola’s goal the entire night was literally to see how close she could get to baby Jadyn!
She was the hardest thing EVER to contain…. she sat in the high chair for all of 3 minutes and besides that she was climbing on me to get to Jadyn, on the table and running around to the bubblegum machine with Tara and signing to Kayla “more” to get more quarters!
In other words, this was well deserved.
Aunt Taytay has fallen in ove with another baby now too! Saturday night we celebrated Aunt Cara’s 30th birthday party with my favorite ladies!!
We had the most amazing dishes at Ippolito’s- one of Cara’s favorite and I think I took a picture of each dish!
Tina an Natasha drove all the way from Statesboro for ONE night with this sweet crew and we have all decided to do a monthly brunch because we have got to make it happen to get together more often! Thanks for watching (and sending snaps of our girl Taytay!) Sundays always scare me to death after company arrives, Lola gets so upset when company leaves! She even stood at the door pointing and screeching when all the girls left for Cara’s birthday Thankfully we did a switch out from Aunt Taytay to Gigi and Poppy!
That morning when she saw Gigi she actually said “I love you” for the first time! Mom and I both looked at each other like “did we hear what we think we hear?” Oh yes! She said it again and again and a few minutes later i got it on camera!
Daddy put our shirt on backwards and Lola found Gigi’s lipstick… I live in a zoo.
At least that sweet girl shares her lovie!
That evening we decided to show Gigi where the fairies and princesses live since she had already heard ALL about it! I LOVE her excitement now a days…. she was kicking in screaming in the back seat as we got closer to the park! She knew where we were going!
Lola usually always shares her snacks at the park but this time he was very particular with sharing the cereal only, not the marshmallows!
Excitement?
Where?
Princess castle!Monday night we decided to bring dinner over for Kayla and Lance to celebrate baby girl turning one month old and so mom and dad could meet her precious self!Look at that sweetness!
Lola brought her baby, baby doll and diaper bag over because her mama had hopes it would distract her from needing to do “everything” for Jadyn!
Oh how we could just steal that sweet baby!
Lola got a hold of one of Jadyns bottles and then the actual bottle Jadyn was eating from when Lou stopped to burp her and it was all over! Lola’s baby dolls were double fisting!
Happy one month Jadyn!! We are SO very glad you are here! and we love you so much!
