How lucky I am to have the best group of ladies to call friends… it seems like just yesterday we were all essentially and literally living together and inseparable and in actuality it’s been 5 years since our Statesboro Days of being all together!
Oh how I have missed theses girls and those carefree college days where we would sit on the front porch swing for hours deciding where to go eat for our next meal!
So when we all decided to reminisce and have a small weekend get together at Alex and I’s house… I WAS THRILLED!
I think Lou asked me 20 times “Are you so excited your little friends are coming!?!?!” (Yes, he refers to everything i own or like as “little”)
Cass even came over to visit Tucker and Milly! They were so happy to see sweet Cass and show her their new back yard! Cassidy and Milly were always the biggest cuddle girls!
The next morning we woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs, Tara cooked us all breakfast! How sweet right!?
Bless her heart though, she didn’t know this only made us take longer to get ready… I think we sat around the patio for over 3 hours after eating breakfast before actually getting motivated to get dressed for our next meal at the square!
One is ready!
Yay for three, come on Tina and Tara!
Finally!
I just had to have Alex take some pics of us all together again and they soon realized… some things never change with me!
Lunch at Hemingways on the square!
Sisterly Love! Ice cream time!
Then it was time for our favorite, oh so anticipated, trip to Lizard Thicket where Jessica works as a buyer for the entire corporation and oh does she have good taste!
We all walked away with very happy purchases and thankfully our accountant was with us to make sure we didn’t spend ALL of our money, I should probably start paying here to come shopping with me! somehow she is able to differentiate between “want and need”, who does that!?!?!?
That night we picked up Lou and Eileen and got ready for our a night out in Buckhead for one of nick and Lia’s “see ya later parties” as they prepared to move to Chicago!
Tara and Eileen were our “grama sports”… they could not believe people leave to go out at 11pm instead of getting home then!
This was somewhere in between Tina stealing drink ware from the bar and our 3am stop at Steak and Shake for bacon burgers and Tina’s un-cooked canned chili- ugh.. What more could you want just before a huge cuddle fiesta?
Sunday came and everyone slowly got ready and parted ways until next time- which better be sooner than later! As soon as Lou and i said goodbye we hit the bed for pretty much the rest of the day, we were pooped!
I guess we really aren’t in college anymore!
Love you girlies and can’t wait to do it again VERY soon!
