Classy Boozefest Getaway!

Last weekend we helped Andy celebrate his 30th birthday in style with a weekend getaway to Dahlonega for some wine sampling!

An amazing thanks to Trish and Brent for showing us around and hosting an amazing weekend in her parents beautiful cabin!!?!

I’m in love and i don’t just mean with Lou, the views were breathtaking.

So on to the main event; wine tasting!

“Three Sisters winery” was our first stop!

To say we were “thrilled” about this wine tasting is an understatement!

  Would you believe me if i told you this was prior to the wine tasting… yeah sad I know!

Us girls were much better at getting right to the point with the pictures.... be cute, silly and say cheese ladies, we have Muscatine wine on the brain!

Texting Nic to “get here” all at once just to be annoying, I’m so glad I’m not a guy, they really think they are way funnier than they actually are…      They had the most creative names for their wine, “Fat Boy Pink” was my favorite at this one!

Oh and they were also setting up for a wedding that night which was obviously going to be beautiful with these views!

On to the next! Lou was our navigator through ‘dem thar hills’  which was the most beautiful drive of back roads filled with more vineyards, barns and hills!

  Frogtown Winery was our next stop and the views just kept getting better!

Leave it to the Birthday Boy to keep it classy!

It’s what we do!

Brent was Andy’s roommate in college and they are just too funny when they get together, I love it!

There were 2 or 3 adorably huge and sweet pups at the winery that just walked around the whole time greeting everyone!

   I could not get enough of the view!

…and the weirdness continued!      Can you tell that I just could not put my camera down!?! Well we shut the wineries down and headed back to our cabin in style…Notice the  Squiggly straws in pocket…

Time for presents and cake before the wino’s pass out! A much needed hangover “kit”  and a helicopter, what more could you want when you turn 30??

Ok so maybe the ability (and energy) to stay up until at least dinner time without passing out…They certainly can’t keep up with us girls! I guess 30 will do that to ya! ;)

A few power naps later we were at it again with cupcakes and bon fire toasts’ but sadly my camera was MIA until the next morning when i woke up to all the boys in the kitchen making us ladies breakfast!!

WHAT!?!?!?  

I know Frankie, what gentlemen we have here!   Mornings in the mountains are always the best even WITH a hangover!

What a way to bring in 30 Andy, It doesn’t look so scary after all! 

Side/ending note.. the BEST part was coming home with Tucker and Milly happy and safe and a note from our new baby sitter who had to  brag about our babies!

Happy, Happy  Birthday Andy! So glad we got to celebrate another great year with you, ya old man! Cheers to many more together!
