HOLY CANOLI.
This poor lingering “part 3” just needed someone to hit post.. I have been DOWN with the a God awful stomach bug that is still lingering but for the most part is mostly gone now, hallelujah!!
Anyway, here’s the long awaited wrap up of our beach trip!
The night after we saw the lighthouse we decided to head out to the beach again for the evening… I had some down time while sister napped (boy was she worn out) and packed a picnic dinner for the beach!
(Don’t you just love those after nap curious eyes, cuddles and paci sucking lips…)
The waves were amazing that night and so was the sky!
Daddy was doing some body surfing and you know who just couldn’t take her eye’s off of him…
Cheeseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Daddy came out of the surf wanting to smother all of us… Lola and I had the intuition to run but naturally sister is the worst with “hiding” or running under pressure (literally) so he scooped her up first and then we all surrendered.
Lola also packed these herself and was so excited to play “her game” with daddy- until she realized she wasn’t very good at it… then she was over it!
I feel ya girl, it’s good to know our limits! lol
The next morning we went out for breakfast and decided to let Lola play at Coligny in the water fountains!
It was seriously one of Lola’s favorite things we did the whole week!
Ya gotta love free entertainment!
I had to run through the middle first and then she got brave and spent the next hour completely drenched!
Thankfully mama had just gone on a little shopping spree and had about 5 swimsuits in the back of my car! We did a quick change of attire and sister kept it moving!
We had to get out that night before the hurricane hit the next day- we assumed we would be stuck in doors all day!
Sister ALWAYS suddenly NEEDS us to hold her when the food comes… jut like when she was a baby..
We woke up to a ton of wind and HUGE waves!
Alex had already gone down to check it out before Lola and I even woke up… he came back and scooped her up to go see it for herself- he knew she would love it and she did!
Pajamas and all!
We had a lazy day and it was one of our best one’s there! That afternoon we found an indoor playground, shopping and Mexican!
The next day was a full blown beach day, our week was ending and I was panicking!
She was so proud of her starfish!
Mommy and Lo suffocated each other a lot that day! It was one of our only just family days and we all know Lo and I can be quite the clingers
I’m obsessed with this picture, every once in a while she would plop down next to me and when we had daddy Lou take a picture she threw the hand up to shade her eyes and crossed her legs lol
We hadn’t been to “Daddy’s beach” yet this week so we decided it was the perfect time (especially since so much had washed up from the storm)!
Lola found the sweetest friend, Allison (her daddy was a fisherman throwing his cast net providing LOTS of entertainment for the kids)! It’s so interesting how she just clings to certain kids, instantly wants to be friends with them and hold their hands..
We likely won’t be back until next year and that’s a sad realization for these beach loving girls… why can’t we just live on the beach somewhere!?!?
Well I can say we saved the best for last… a beach day with Ana, Cole, Jammy and even Nutty came!
My first baby with my first baby- heart be still!
Don’t you just love that hip action!
We kissed away the Summer of 2016! It was one of the busiest, most fun and summers of all!
We got back to Gigi’s to get our girl and they had a HUGE spread waiting for us! Crabs, Guac, Cheese dip, crack dip God help us!
Hallelujah for no more bikinis
