So yes, a lot more when on during our weekend home than Lolas party… did I mention A LOT.
Ok, yeah it was a jam paced weeked! Every aspect of it was super sweet, meaningful and special and we are so glad we got to be at everything- we just had to remember to exhale!
I had worked everyday that week leading up to us leaving so just before daddy got home we scrambled to pack and girlfriend decided to pack her own bag-and then added her necklaces!
She’s such a girly girl! Friday we were off and spent the ENTIRE day decorating at the bakery! Lola was such a trooper (she actually went all 3 days with out a nap - bless her heart!)
So after Lolas birthday party we literally scrambled (with many thanks to mom, dad and Tara who stayed after helping) to clean up so we could make it to Avery’s party an hour away which was starting two hours after Lolas ended!
Aerys party was so cute! It was at a little painting studio and I loved allthe natural lighting and decorations!
I know Lola was SO tired(I figured she would fall asleep in the car- not a chance) but she perked right up when we got there!
All the girls got to paint a little fairy house and you know Lola LOVES being able to do anything the older kids are doing!
The next day we were out the door to a day of showers for the two SWEETEST mamas!
Christina has a sweet new addition, Savannah, that was a surprise to even her so we just had to shower her with a cute shower at her sisters house that morning!
I have yet to hear this sweet thing cry and look at all that hair!
The showers overlapped in time so mom, Lola and I literally raced out the door early from one to be late to Renees!
I’m pretty sure Renee is hands down the cutest pregnant person I have ever seen! She may waddle around like she is as big as a whale but she is so itty bitty and no one would ever know she has twins in there!
I may have been a host but I unfortunety can not take ANY credit for the cuteness of the shower! Stephanie and Lauren did EVERYTHING to mae all of this cuteness come together!
Lola was on the loose and made her self right at home as usualduring the shower… most of the time she was either chasing the bigger kids around or “hiding” behind the mama to be’s new stroller and gifts!
Oh the times we have had together! I could not be happier that the time is finally here for her…. she honestly went through IT ALL to meet these babies and she always found something to laugh about in the midst of her mny storms to get to where she is today… She is one strong mama!
If I had to guess it may have al just been one big preparation step to meet not one but TWO babies!! They can not get here fast enough!
We love our Neyney (and yes I mean we- Lola truly LOVEs her Neyney as if she has known her as long as her mama- they just get eachother!)
Come on Maddie and Brody!!
We left from Aunt Taytays and thankfully Lola was so tired she slept the whole way home!
So there you have it, life outside (slightly) of Lolas world from our weekend home!
It was a good one but we can’t wt to get back down there for a less busy weekend!
