At the end of most long weekends I have LOTS and LOTS to report, unfortunately I wasn’t so good about keeping up with the blog while Lou was gone to Germany and blame that all on my too much fun baby sitter:
We kept ourselves very busy while Lou was gone & had so much fun staying distracted from life that there was no time for blogging!
Most importantly, I’m happy to report Alex had a great time in Germany (minus not being a fan of the food) and I wanted to share some pictures he sent me while being there….
But he was pretty worn out and very confused from jet lag by the time he got home Friday… all he wanted was sleep and cuddles and that’s exactly what this little one happens to be best at!
Now on to the randomness of Mothers Day, Sweet baby Luther’s photo shoot, a weekend with the family, more of our anniversary and visiting Avery and Julian!
Cutie Pie’s up first!
On our way home from Charleston, yes forever ago, we made a pit stop to see Avery and Julian, Alex’s mom and my parents!
Julian is such a lovey dovey big sister and is quite a helper with holding Avery too ;)
Oh yes, and most importantly, we squeezed in a trip to El Som on the ride home! Wow, literally can’t look at that picture for long or I may talk myself into a random one night round trip drive from here to Statesboro- distraction please!
I know, use tucker and Milly’s favorite new distraction from mommy and daddy leaving them… going for a ride in grampas new golf cart!
While picking up the pups and heading back to Atlanta we had to check out our grape vines and apple tree that Lou bought for me on our 1 year anniversary…. after all it was the day before our 3 year anniversary! More on our Anniversary…. We enjoyed our first Fork and Screen experience for our anniversary and had the entire theatre to ourselves to watch (and cry) to The Lucky One.
My hair dresser told me about it after i told her i refuse going to movie theatres and sitting in those awful chairs for 2 hours… She informed me at these type theatres you get big comfy chairs and you can order full meals along with the pop corn and candy…. what more could i ask for!?!?!
It was a date!
On to Sweet Baby Luther’s Photo shoot, Go:
The dog NEVER gets tired, I’m pretty jealous of his energy and youth and if i had to guess, so is Chelsea! Now worries, Mom is so good about being inclusive of everyone, she noticed Chelsea was feeling a bit left out so mom included her right away and into the photo shoot she came! “Ok Chelsea time for your photo shoot, go stand by the flowers”
After ten minutes of calling her name and pulling her towards the flowers the above is the best we got, bless her heart we all gave her a very exaggerated: “Perfect pretty girl, that’s beautiful!!!”
I know where Chelsea gets the left out feeling from, we felt bad for Rachel too and let her get in pictures just to “soothe” her….
The boys are addicted to the “Bruno” movie clips on Youtube and it has literally been a fight just to get Alex to come to bed every night since finding the it!
We often refer to Luther as Tucker’s child… he too is all boy!
But these days just thinking of all that energy Luther has tuckers my Tucker out though.
Anyway, I had to save the best for last (Sorry Sweet baby Luther)on to Mothers Day:
Mom and dad came to town to visit, eat and house hunt…. it’s what we do best! oh yes and drink and it was only right to start with running to the farmers market to get fresh pineapple for mom’s famous pina coladas ;)
Happy Mothers Day to the best mama there is… we had an amazing weekend with you and Lou owes you big for baby sitting while he was gone!
