Oh my goodness, we have been through quite a whirlwind lately! Lola ended up in the urgent care Tuesday night, Wednesday the burn clinic (more of that to come), I’m packing, shopping, dropping off alterations and monograms for our week at the beach and then I sit down to find 3 unfinished blogs! I don’t even know where I left off!
Here is a SLIGHLTY cleaned up version of one that I found:
Wow! We are so go, go, go lately and were so thankful for a few weekends at home to just enjoy each other!
Friday mornings always start with a little muffin baking and this time Sister is the one who suggested it after seeing an episode of Curious George where they made muffins from scratch!
That night we had daddy take us out for Mexican and a little shopping (his favorite)! We say the most gorgeous rainbow (Lola recently has an obsession with rainbows ever since I simply told her about seeing one on the way home from work one day)!
While we were eating dinner she had us run outside to go see it.. literally like 5 times Daddy and I alternated taking her to see it!
Then it turned into a double rainbow (just for her of course)!
Saturday was the first day that the Kennesaw Botanical Garden opened up a butterfly exhibit and we we just had to check it out…. GOD was it hot!
They give you a sponge with sugar water on it so the butterfly’s will be attracted to it. Daddy Lou had all the kids coming up to him asking him to help them “catch” one… I can see them now on field trips together!
Getting the sugar water herself!
Sister ended up finding Chickens and (as usual) LOVES the idea of holding them until you let her… we voted Daddy could hold the chickens while we pet them!
That evening I did a little sporadic project with some leftover paint and was SO surprised by how it turned out!
It was originally a goodwill find about a year ago that’s been sitting around waiting to become beautiful… I decided to ditch the top hutch and just leave it as a buffet and love it now!
Here’s the after: the two dark center piece are the original knobs- it was missing one but I ended up scrapping the originals and getting some cue turquoise ones that brightened it up a bit!Girlfriend and I decided we needed a little celebration after that amount of productiveness so we had Daddy Lou take us out!
We ended up at Italian and Sister ended up buying unlimited amount of “game time” on some tablet (with the push of one button) that now comes with your tablet… technology- thanks!
So the next night we decided to get back to our roots… Mexican Date with Baby Jadyn!
Sister was also introduced and fell in love with Sour Patch Kids… oops.
Love my sweet lil family so much!
Lola was so excted about her Play Date with Aunt Cara and Baby Dexter! We got to see her new house and have a Cosco shopping date to get everything for JJ’s baby shower that weekend!
Aunt Cara is simply the best… she had apples cut, crayons and markers out and a sippy cup all ready for Lola!
Thursday was another Surprise for Lola… Aunt TayTay was coming for the (very busy) weekend!
We found an amazing new dinner spot at the square with the cutest atmosphere (and food)!
Sister was downing her guacamole!
The next day was full of all things sweet baby girls!
It was JJ’s baby shower and the count down is on: 6 weeks left!
We could not wait to shower our JJ and we REALLY can not wait until baby girl Hensley Grace gets here!
It was a brunch shower- the best kind!
Tina made the sweetest diaper cake and is quite the professional in that arena lately!
It is SO sweet now having all these babies in one room! Lola definitely thought she was in charge!
Our JJ was glowing in her blue!
Lola and sweet Savannah, the sweetest baby ever!
If there was a word for my relationship towards JJ I would have to say it’s cheerleader! There is something about her that makes you crave happiness for her! I love everything about that sweet girl and always have, literally since the day we met.
She has the kindest, giving, most humble heart and the brains and her fashion sense are just a bonus.
This little girl has no idea the luck she ha with parents like JJ and Coco and we can NOT wait to meet her!
That night we celebrated Aunt Cara’s birthday and Lou got to see her new house which he obsessed over as much as me- it’s legit ADORABLE and SO Cara!
I love Lola’ face on his one (just like her Neyney, always has to check out what everyone else ordered)!
We spent Sunday shopping with Grama Karen and I think only made it in about 2 stores… #lifewithlola e spent most of our time eating or playing!
