Not that it was much different from this past week, more yard work for Lou and more outfits to strut her stuff in for Lola.
I’m simply here to document people (obviously).
…and the view isn’t so bad either!
This girl was on an ice cream high- cheers to the weekend Lola style!
Lola and daddy were busy in the yard (and Home Depot) ALL weekend and the weather could not be more beautiful!
Thankfully sister is always ready for anything that comes her way.
Lola and I were quite proud of our garden- there was more dirt in my hair than the entire whiskey barrel but she was proud so naturally- I was too!
We always love when Mr. Henry calls us over- he finds treasure pretty much daily and LOVES showing them to Lola!
He had two baby bird nest in his yard with new eggs! I could only get a picture of this one- it’s on his front porch!
It was also a SUPER big weekend because Lola and Daddy went fishing and Lola (aka daddy fished while Lola ate snacks and dug through her purse and Kyi’s tackle box) caught their first fish!!
Lola really was SO proud and we have had to tell her the story about it every night to put her to bed this week!
To be honest, her favorite part of the story every week is Kyi (Henrys grandson)! When I say his name she can’t be still she gets SO exited!
Liam (below) is a sweetie too who lives down the road- he is always looking for Lola!
(When she saw him she literally got nose to nose with him and started balling words at him to attempt a conversation- he didn’t know what to think and she was (shocker) so confident about it… I could not stop laughing!
Lola was in charge of picking out the snacks everyone could have from her snack bag!
Lola seriously shrieks when the neighbors come over! She wanted to show them a her scooter of course!
The girls know Lola and I are in love with their sweet bunny so they brought him over too, ON HIS LEASH (how freaking cute) and he cuddled right up to us!
Also- don’t you love Lola and her QT cup of chewy ice… my child. God we’re trashy.
It was such a fun and busy weekend OUTSIDE, we got a lot done but are hoping to tidy things up a bit this next weekend!
Poor Lou I watch one episode of HGTV and a few Pinterest browsing sessions and were 10 feet deep in projects!
I will say we put real clothes on most every night to go to dinner and frankly we were just way too tired every night to even think of cooking.
We seriously don’t tell anyone there that this is WAY TOO EARLY for us- they would def judge us so it’s Lola and I’s little secret that we barely made it out of bed- threw on our clothes and at breakfast in the car just to be fashionably late every week and still make it by 10:10 (usually)!
I’m obviously setting really good standards for her.
Whoops.
Her new FAVORITE go to- the library after story time gets out!
She already has a “routine” of must do’s when she goes… such a little routine baby!
A nap- a little brownie batter and daddy coming home…. the world was right again!!
Just like that, it’s already time for another Friday!
