Oh yes, it’s no wonder I have a January and February hubby and baby in the house… as much as I hate taking down the Cristmas stuff I LOVE getting everything cleaned up and ready for BIRTHDAY season!!
I had FINALLY(after much debate) officially reserved a location for her party this year!!!
So it was game on!
Now if only I could fthom how in the world she is turning TWO lready!
Lola mine as well be turning 4, she looks SO grown up to me lately and is SO smart with how she puts things together, notices things, remember things and her long legs don’t help!
Gigi and Poppy decided to come up for a quick Lola fix to watch the Clemson game and pick out some decoratons for Lolas party coming up…. sorry Daddy Lou, see how we just hopped right over you?
We did get a bit of a head start on them and picked up a few things before their arrival… thankfully we have decided to NOT go overboard this year.
Ha
Ha
Can you blame me though?
Hell can ya blame them for having withdrawls?
Poor Lola, some kids go to school, she goes to Target.
She cried and cried before bed the night before this when she found her book bag and I asked “are you going to school”? She ran our of the room to go downstairs and had a total melt down when Alex and I old her she couldn’t go to school/downtairs right now.
We settled it by telling her we would take her to school tomorrow.
So here we are at Target School with our book bag.
Correcton, bookbag and a pinata.
What we walk in with o our list and what we walk out with are always two VERY different things…. how do you refuse this girl though?
I can’t lie, I love this girl in sunglasses…
Poppy and Gigi arrived (bearing gifts and a weeks worth of groceries!) Did we mention we love their visits?
Poppy had homemade guacomole on the brain so Lola and gigi went straight to it!
So we settled in to watch the start of the gme before breaking the bad news to Lola that there was no way in Hell she would be staying up for more than the first inning of the game!
She sure enjoyed the National Anthem though!
In the end we lost by 5 points, 5! It was xciting enough for mom and I to even stay up wachin it!
Poor Clemson…
We stayed up so late watching the game I barely remembered I had switched Lolas gymnastics class to Tuesday mornings instead of evenings so she could be with her friend so we literally RACED out the door bright and early.
Well 9:30 is bright and early for us these days!
Thankfully mom thought to snap this picture before we went in!
Then it was a lunch date so Gigi could get some baby time in with baby J! Mom got some snaps of all this girl action too!
I don’t think we have one single picture with ll 4 of us looking… God forbid smiling…
The good news is we pretty much finished up all of “Lolas Candy Shop” theme shopping inclusive of goody bags!
Lola and I tried to keep up our prodctieness even after Gee and Poppy left…
we managed to order and print Lolas invitations, mail some things and make a lot of returns… all while little miss fashionista kept us entertained!
Don’t you just LOVE how the invitations turned out!?!
I love them!
So off to print them and mail them!
you would think no big deal right?
Wrong, Honey we had a photo shoot before we stepped out the front door!
I think that does it…. we’re off..
Whew, it must be hard being that cute huh Lola?
For some reason Lola tought she HAD to hold th sun visor that day… literally she was whining and holding it as if was a nuisance for her to do…
I have no idea where she gets this stuff from?
We of course had to make a small pitstop at our second home first…
This girl has no shortge in the personality department…
A pretzel with mostly just cheese sauce and it’s a wrap!
Happy Friday everyone!
