Dublin has such a fun and active nightlife- and we look young right!?!?!?!
This was our view from dinner…It ended up being perfect because we were eating late so some places has turned into more of a bar-bar but this one had a view but was still a restaurant feel an the downstairs was jamming with live music!
B went to a vegan place near us and sent us a picture of his INCREDIBLY full plate (but I forgot to screenshot it!) It worked out perfect since we finished at the same time to meet back up after dinner!
Lou ordered a steak that came out sizzling on a rock…. it was SO good! He actually had to eat it fast to keep it from continuing to cook! He was so proud!
I became addicted to caesar salads and hot chocolate while we were there – polar opposites but it happened!
I talked up Temple while we were at dinner (because Lou has to warm up to these ideas i have) and he finally agreed…. we lasted about 4 minutes and found an exit…. it was SO crowded! I snapped this just as we were exiting- hints why Lou was smiling!
This lady was a HOOT! She was SO wasted and stumbling but she literally danced with the band in the street (by herself) until it was shut down! She would occasionally pull liquor out her bra and chug it- class act.
For some reason this was so entertaining…. it seriously SUCKED us in and it was SO hard to do apparently… The goal was to last 100 seconds on the bars and you get 100$!
I think the longest anyone lasted was about 75ish!
The next morning we headed to Howth to show B the gorgeous quaintness of it while Lou headed to his last day of conferences!
Lola thought the bus ride to the train station was the best part!xoxoxooxoxoxox
It was much less crowded this go round at Howth so w finally got to eat at the restaurant we wanted!
(they found their Italian beer again!)
The seafood was local and SO good!
She is OBSESSED with feeding uncle B, the mile she gets on her face when he eats something she gives him is UN REAL and poor uncle B finished an entire bag of carrots in 2 days thanks to Lolas “help”!This is moms typical “Oh… so THIS is what I ordered” face?!?!?!
We finished up and were so excited to shop a bit and show B the ret of Howth! The clouds were seriously playing with my mind that day!! Every shot was so different but so beautiful!
Lola and I had to get in on the action! I spy an Uncle B! Isn’t it just breath taking!? Mom pointed out the sun as we were leaving the docks and I am so glad she did, the last few shots were my favorite!
Then we headed up to the summit to show B the true beauty of Howth….
He loved it too, see our shadows?
We literally lost like 2 different trails and finally went back to where we came from to get to another path that runs right along the edge of the cliffs… it was SO beautiful and then we realized just how high up we were! Straight down….. they say the ferry to London runs right along this coast!
Thee boys had drones and since Lou wasn’t with us B and I decided he would want a picture of them…. what a good idea! They were taking video footage of the area by flying them and it was going straight to their phones!
It’s SO cold a the summit o we left Mom, dad and Lola at the restaurant just down the road and when we headed back to catch the bus and find them we had a pit stop for flower picking…. Lola was in Heaven!
Back to Dubljn we go!
That night we made it back to meet up with Lou to celebrate his last day of conferences! We were heading to Galway the next day so we wanted to get one last night of the full Dublin experience!
This place was our FAVORITE and also Grams maiden name!
They know how o party at Murray’s and there was always live traditional Irish music and even Irish dancing performances!
The food wasn’t so bad either! Originally Alex thought we shouldn’t go in because it would be too loud for Lola….Are you kidding she stood up dancing, clapping an wiggling with the band the whole night!
We finally called it a night since Galway was calling us early the next morning but it was certainly not because this girl was tired out ;)
