Whew! I have to take a break in the Ireland world (which holy impressed… I can’t believe I have gotten as much caught up as I have- que round of applause!)
Lola was so excited to get home and honestly she just wanted to play with her toys and cuddle! She was SUCH a good cuddle bug the days following our return and every toy in the house was like a brand new toy!
We missed this girl so much too!By Thursday we felt caught up enough to take Lola out to her favorite park of all!
This is also known as our guilty parenting pleasure…
No trip is complete without her trains! …. and this may or may not have been our 5th time at Mexican since getting home 4 days prior (and yes that is a chicken nugget dipped in cheese dip)! She also loved getting back to her gymnastics to see her other love, Ms. Brittany! October is flying by so we decided to put our Halloween gear into overdrive which naturally means wear every pumpkin shirt we own, bake cookies and all things pumpkin flavored and go get ourselves some pumpkins!!
Best of all Taytay was here to hell us with all of it!
We had more sprinkles than we did cookies but it was SO fun for Lola and she was SO proud of herself!
Lola thought the best idea ever was to wipe her hands on me if she got flour on them… my entire (blue) shirt was white.
Miss picky has actually gotten a sweet tooth lately too- she loved the cookies!
Saturday it was time to test out the whole costume idea! I couldn’t believe (after seeing the “instructions” picture) she actually wanted to wear it all, complete with headband! Those lips were extra pouty and I couldn’t get enough of them! I died!!! Taytay is the queen of festival foods and taught Lola all about cotton candy!Poor Loa (and Lou) her costume didn’t fit in the carseat so each time we got in and out of the car she had to take it off and then back on! I’m jut glad she was willing to keep it on! She did better than I thought! That night we had Mexican again….
yup, that’s 6 if your counting…. we were busy chatting it up and watching the Clemson game when all of a sudden we saw Lola do this…..
…..dear lord.
I could have sank in my seat!
This girl gets me in so much trouble!
Last Sunday we had to do the “real” pumpkin thing…. We found the one that was not only animal friendly but also had the most animal encounters to visit and we were sold!
I was so excited for about 2 minutes (when I yelled to Lou, “turn around let’s bring Milly) and 2 minutes later I decided bringing Milly was the WORST idea ever… she cried the ENTIRE time I thought I was going to lose my mind!
Thankfully we all survived and Milly LOVED it there! Lola loved the Llamas- but mama heard that they SPIT so this was as close as we got!!
Look at those two color coordinating!
Family picture… if only our TJ was in it I think i would have it blown up and framed! Love this one with our Taytay! Lola loved getting to “walk” Milly!
It was the perfect day and the weather couldn’t have been better! We had the best time picking out pumpkins (but lets be honest, taking pictures with the pumpkins), eating nice festival food (aka fried chicken and corn dogs), and we even fed camels on a hay ride (because that’s normal right?)! Lola was less into the picture part and more into testing which pumpkin she was strong enough to pick up!
Lola was so excited to feed the animals! Not exactly what you expect to see on a hayride! They were SO friendly and we even took selfies with them! Well hi there…
Good thing daddy wasn’t able to join us on the hayride (he had to stay behind with Milly) but he would have NEVER let this fly!
Sweet Lovers….
Oh Lola, I could have 20 more of you!
One last photo op and we’re SET!
Sister had some expressions! It’s official we can now check the box for Fall! We all partied till we dropped and the two sisters were finally PEACEFUL on the way home!
