In my most favorite place of all…
Charleston!
Arriving was so exciting in itself… I don’t think I have ever gone into a vacation so blindly… Actually I don’t think I have ever gone on a vacation that i haven’t planned myself so I slightly felt like Snooki walking into a new season of Jersey Shore….
Pick your bedrooms, poor a glass of something alcoholic and start shopping!
Geez, I would be a perfect candidate for that show!
Speaking of favorite shows ;) Lauren may just be the next house wife, she found BLK water at the market and I learned just how not up to date i am on MY favorite shows… Yes, BLK water is apparently the new thing!
Don’t worry after a weekend with those girls I’m all up to date on celebrity gossip!
On to our first night out! We had big plans for the first night and JJ’s amazing cousin had everything planned to a T to make our nights out as stress free a possible!
…Well after we got over the fact that 6 girls in the upstairs loft would be sharing and getting dressed with one (not full length) mirror….
Only kidding, we learned to trust and rely on each other that much more!
Looking good JJ!
The first night was JJ in white and girls in black, I have seen this a lot for bachelorette parties but never knew there was a meaning… Shannon says we wear black to mourn the end of her “single” life!
Makes since!
Night one Cypress.
We had an amazing VIP section (Another amazing job Shannon!), JJ got a free T-shirt with a list of Bachelorette “To-do’s” and the shots started coming before we made it in the door- literally!
Can you tell I designated myself to be the “floor photographer”?
Someone had to do it and it was the best excuse I had… again these ladies had a lot to teach me!
We ended the night with possibly my new absolute most favorite thing ever….
Pedi cabs, Krisy Kreme and Girl talk!
Day 2: Beach Day!
Good morning sunshine’s!!
We ate breakfast [Lauren your the best!], watched celebrity gossip [to make sure i was still in the know], slept off the breakfast and prepped some sangria for the night ahead…..in a coffee pot!
Then headed to Folly beach! Laurens goal accomplished- new profile pic of her and JJ
Notice someone decided to do a lovely superman pose in the back of our picture- never the less it was one of the best beach days of the year!
Night 2 was kicked off with the arrival of some more lovely ladies to party down with us and a Honeymooon shower hosted by Eileen…
Most adorable spread ever- oh yes and yummiest cupcakes ever…Mmm!
Eileen cuteness pretty much matched the cuteness of the entire weekend!
Cabs are here!
Time for a second night out on the town!
Charleston is known for their bachelorette parties and we had a sweet table of bachelorette girls at the table next to ours who gave JJ a lottery ticket!
I forgot to pay attention after the scratch off moment and have no idea the outcome of the lottery ticket due to this being served at the same time…….
You have no idea how bad I was craving a good non- fancy food CHEESEBURGER at this point!
MMMMM I was pretty MIA until that was downed and we headed to the next location!
*Cheers to JJ*
Scavenger hunt check.. a picture with someone named “Corey” even if it is a statue!
A true bachelorette night! It’s official, JJ is the cutest thing I have ever met!
We somehow left the last club and decided we should challenge the cab driver by figuring out how many people could fit in his cab….
It just wouldn’t be a bachelorette party without ending it somewhere trashy right!?!?!
A few of us thought it felt more than amazing outside (literally the weather was perfect) especially after sweating it up in the last bar so we attempted buying a bottle of wine and hiding outside until we were caught and convinced to join them inside…
So we lasted about ten minutes and after some convicing chatter with a limo driver we rode home in style [style- not to be confused with jamming out to music ;)] with a stretch excursion!
Again, our attempts at being resourceful- stiletto to push broken cork through wine bottle!
The next morning we slept in, told our adorable house good-bye ate some lunch and played tourist!
Rainbow Row!
JJ, I couldn’t be more happy for you and Coco!
I was honored to be a part of your bachelorette party and I believe in general, people you surround yourself with show a lot about the type of person you are.
After spending time with some of your closest friends this past weekend I believe that to be true now more than ever! You truly are beautiful inside and out -as are your wonderful girlies!
The genuine love, kindness, compassion and feeling of being welcome radiated throughout the trip and house and the one thing we all had in common was loving you!
Thank you all for such a wonderful weekend ladies! Can’t wait to see everyone again at the wedding!
Love you JJ and Congrats Coco ( I know you already know how lucky you are)!!
