Last week we celebrated Rachel’s 24th birthday (again, damn number never changes, crazy)!
It was amazing and she picked the absolute best Mexican restaurant ever, after El Som of course, Nuevo Mexican Cantina….. at least if you ordered what I ordered, apparently the table was pretty split with loving it or thinking “ehhh”!
Rachel and I were on the loving it side so many more Nuevo dates to come, Alex already agreed to bring Taco bell!
Typical Andy and Rachel pic,,,,
Dinner, Margaritas and the best store bought angel food cake ever!
*Cutest Picture EVER above*
Wishing to stay “24” again next year maybe? Mmmm someone is excited to cut the cake!
If your birthday is coming up anytime in the near future close your eyes and skip to next section!
This is my new “go to” present, redneck wine glass (actual name), I also got JJ the Red Neck Margarita set for their engagement gift and they are all made from mason jars… just add a stem!
Rachel’s even comes with a lid… too good to be true! You can find them at just about any boutique type store, “Lime Tree” if in Atlanta!
Happy birthday Pookster, I love you!
That Friday was the BRAVES opening game, so we slightly continued Rachel’s celebrations and made an appearance in the parking Lot!
Yes, merely sitting in the parking lot was all planned out… we decided after our last game last season when Rachel and I pitched a fit about having to go in the game “just because we had good seats” that next time we just wouldn’t bother buying tickets!
So for opening game, we didn’t!
We also planned for traffic and parking to be bad… but not THIS bad….
After Andy drove us around for literally over an hour trying to find a parking spot in the middle of chaos and “season pass only” lots, he finally decided enough was enough and we were going home… at about the same time I yelled out the window begging to park in a closed lot… WE GOT IN!
We ended up scoring the best spot too, room to play corn hole and right next to a hotel which serves cheese if you forget your for your burgers and nicely ask for theirs (just fyi) and the best part; clean bathrooms (IF you pretend your staying there and ask them to clean it or point you in the direction of a cleaner one with proper “supplies”)… anyway, yay for no port-a- pottys!
Lou was very proud!
I can’t wait for many more Braves games to come… well you know, Braves game tail gating adventures :)
More weekend festivities to come;
Happy birthday Rachel!
