Ya see what I did there! Gee I’m clever.
Here is a round up f some of our routine outings lately! I always say the reason I am home with her is to be with her and we try not to be too busy but this girl needs to be social and loves to be active so at least for now I think we have the perfect mix of free time and a little routine!
We started a new gymnastics class for the fall and for the first time sister isn’t doing the Mommy and Me anymore!
I was so worried about how she would respond and really prepared her talking all about her teacher and exactly what the mommies do while the kids go with their teacher (even though we can see each other the whole 30 minutes) lol
This girl grabbed Ms. Kristens hand and walked off as soon as we got there! lol She loves the idea of doing it all on her own!
Ya’ll, seriously look at this… It is REALLY not fair how fast these toddler years go by! This picture is only about 13 months apart!
She is ALWAYS the first one to run away when they are done to show me her stamps!
They “climb mountains and pick apples everyday” Lola is always the loudest and LOVEs the idea of taking turns (she loves her turn) lol
She even got her first “report card” and had no clue what it was but was so happy to show me and daddy! Her comment was “So sweet” from her teacher!
Sometimes we even manage to get through nastics with a runny nose and everyone knows you need to pick out a good toy on days you don’t feel good!
We have also started religiously going to STORYTIME and it’s one of Sister’s favorite things! She NEVER sits to listen to the books but LOVES o dance and sing!
This was her and Baby J at the end of the summer… look how protective Lola was in their first session!
After the very first session Lola started talking about “Ms Pam” as her teacher… the very next session she walked in and looked as if she saw a celebrity and I heard her whisper to me “mama my teacher”…
Lola and Jadyn have LOVED having Ethan around for story time(Lola’s first nanny's’ little boy), he LOVES story time too and is right in the middle age wise for Lola and Jadyn!
This was RIGHT after Charisa caught them hugging!
They don’t look guilty at all do they!
She get’s SO excited about going- mostly for the singing an oh is there singing!
Story time is also a goo time to get sister’s rock pictures since were halfway put together on those days… halfway… keep scrolling.
She has such a routine even within her library trips! She has to play with the blocks, letters, puzzles, draw a picture for daddy, get a sticker for daddy and then use the hand sanitizer on the way out… this girl ya’ll!
Oh and this past week I walked away from the other moms while talking to help her get her sticker out the box… she sent me away and said “no mommy you go talk”!These three are just too cute together!
These two love our after library errand runs- usually because it involves food!
Then this happened: This mama finally took the plunge and let Sissy go check out her soon to be (drop in) school!
She was SOOOOO excited and I have never talked anything up so much in my whole life!
I also noticed I had a (21) next to the emails between myself and the program coordinator (who is SO sweet to this terrified mama that had lots of questions)! So she kindly let us take a little tour to check it all out and meet Lola’s teachers (and Lola’s favorite part- the playground!)
It took me a little over 2 weeks between the tour and actually scheduling her first day to…. well, go.
We spent the whole night before prepping/discussing our routine packing her book bag and lunchbox (she wasn’t even there for lunch but insisted she needed a lunchbox for snack time)!
Seriously is it that bad staying home with me Lola… lol Only kidding this little girl is obsessed with going to school!
We got asked 3 times before walking in the door if it was “our” first day…. that obvious huh…
Sooooo the truth is although Lola and I went over and over her plan to go to school, mommy’s go to the grocery (yes all mommy’s) and then mommy brings the groceries home (in case anything was misplaced at home if I didn’t go tot the grocery and/or if there are no groceries in the car when I pick her up)… HOWEVER, I never actually thought about what I would actually do after dropping her off.
First the first time in my life I truly didn’t need to go o the grocery store… shocking I know.
So I sat in the parking lot for a minute because they were on the playground and well… I had a view.
It was only making me worse, with in 10 seconds the child went belly/head first down the slide which she’s never done and I freaked! I also considered if she saw me she may change her mind so I quickly went out the entrance (so she wouldn’t see our car) and called Gigi and Daddy Lou screaming my backseat is empty!
I somehow ended up at chickfila.. I think my car just drives there now..
I walked in to get her and she was siting at the snack table (I was a bit too early), her favorite part!! Honestly, I don;t think she cared she ran up and hugged me SO hard! I think she new I needed it and honestly I think as much fun as she had and how talked up it was I think she was so proud of her self for going to school!
She had to have about a 30 minute talk all about school with Mr. Henry when we pulled up and he had a present for her too! A keychain for her book bag for her first day of school!
So we all survived and she can’t wait to go back!
In other news I can’t not share the adorable pics from her last haircut!
Ok I had hoped to post some of Lolas first playgroups with our new MOPS group but this post is LONG enough!
Off you go blog!
