Oh my this post has officially sat in my drafts for a month. Oops. Once you read it you will know why… the girl is on the MOVE and into everything!!
The coffee table has officially been moved out of the living room… yup. We have become those people!
Scary right, our girl is on the move!
We got her a walker the Sunday after Halloween and she LOVES it!!
Keep in mind I hardly have any pictures of her in it because after one day in it, she learned how to MOVE!
Lola, one day you may look back at this and wonder why in the world your mom got you the ugliest walker ever… Well for the record, you picked it out and I tried to convince you other wise but this one was apparently “the one”!
Hello Independence… and a whole new playground of germs! Lola is into EVERYTHING and i hear this is nothing yet- oh god! We used to take her places to help soothe her and put her to sleep, now we take her places to occupy her busy little hands!
Thankfully Christmas shopping is a great “coping strategy”!!
At least that’s what we tell Daddylou right Lola!!
I will say Christmas shopping (or grocery chopping) this year beats the hell out of Christmas shopping last year- or any other year for that matter! Not only do I have my fun shopping buddy with me, with me, but I’m not looking for a chair every ten minutes to take a pit stop and an aching back and feet!!
Aren’t you happy Lou, I can go so much longer now ;)
Eating out on the other hand has become similar to running a marathon…. I burn off all the calories before finishing the meal!
Mexican with an extra set of hands is a MUST these days and extra yum yum in our sippy for re-fueling!
I love how my mom and Kayla’s mom are making the exact same expression! They love some Lola!
Lola got her first cold mid november…. it was runny one day and stuffy the next… it lingered for about two weeks and her drooling increased the last few days of it! We thought we were going to see some top teeth soon but no such luck!
You too TJ, I think I tell him “thank you” on a daily basis lately!
Once she is up she is UP and there is nothing slowing her down!
That Monday her daddy stayed home with her so we could keep an eye on her temperature….. she had a slight temperature in the middle of the night and had a hard time sleeping but seemed to be just fine during the day!
Mommy’s isn’t used to leaving these two home alone but i guess it’s only fair, daddy needs his time too!
Notice my bye bye kiss?
Lola is so much on the move (yes, even with her cold, which is thankfully now gone) the only way to get good cuddles these days is being out in public (she gets a bit more clingy) or reading a book at bedtime!
I take what I can get, right Mill? (See what i did there) ;)
Lola was probably the “stuffiest” this day, breathing completely through her nose….
Oh November, how you have gotten away from me! I have gotten nothing done and everything done at the same time! We’re adjusting to what we can and can’t accomplish with a fastly crawling, always on the move 9 month old in the house and certain projects have started out to be a good idea and ended (or not ended) with what the hell were we thinking doing this with her! Just before going home for thanksgiving we decided to “knock out” some painting in the downstairs with Alexs’ first time having some days off work with time to spend at home in a while! Well, I think I piled on a months worth of work for him and my list is continuing to grow! Not to mention more and more of the house needs to be better baby proofed!
Thankful for Lolas help in clearing the shelves that are now, finally WHITE!
Before and after pics coming soon!
Now, are their any little turkeys ready to go home for Thanksgiving!!!???!?!?!
