We’re just now catching up on our rest from all the fun we have been having!
Sleepy cuddle bugs!!
It’s been a good past few weeks full of time with visits from family, cook outs, dates and play time with friends!
Oh yes and a little landscaping in our yard.. typical. Right Lou?
Daddy and Alex’s debate continues… to plant grass or not to plant grass….
Yada, yada….those two are a mess!
Onto “girlier” things! A few weekends ago was a very important weekend because Alex’s mom and Mike came to visit for the first time (finally!!!!!) and Mom and Dad brought grams to see us and our new house!
Yay for first time visitors!!
Lou was so proud to show his mom his first home…. it was so sweet seeing them see each other! Ms Karen was too cute when she saw our house…. I’m not sure what she thought we were living in but she literally came to tears when she saw it and just about lost it when she came inside… it was so cute she kept calling it the Biltmore- wishful thinking!
Mike even complemented my decorating and said “you decorations are incredible, it looks like something from southern living” only my favorite magazine! Decorating compliments from a man I take very appreciatively! Thanks mike!
So we called the family over and threw together (
literally) a cook out! Sweet Grams- I swear she loves me and of course I am her favorite she just forgot to smile! I love the summer time sunsets on our back porch… poor Tara was too busy to enjoy herself with the ret of us because she has a new obsession with re-doing furniture! i am totally okay with this new obsession might i add… (more on that later)!
Two sweeties in a pod! Another big weekend was a late Fathers Day celebration and Billy came into town for daddy’s birthday!
We have to say goodbye to Milly before company comes each time because she ignores us when “she has company”..
Daddy was so excited to find out last minute (we almost made it a surprise- MOMMOM!!) that Billy was flying down to celebrate his birthday with all of us!!
Tara taught us all about Snapchat this weekend and now we’re all hooked... including Alex and Angela BUT Billy is playing hard headed and trying to act like he doesn’t want any parts in our fun app! Blah blah B! We have not been very good braves supporters this year! I think this is only game number 2!
Our very awkwardly shaped family photo! Mom told me all weekend she wanted one of all of us but of course never recruited us all so this was the best I got!
Oh my goodness we were in the NOSE BLEEDS section, literally at the tip-top!
We were so worn out by the time we got to the top of the stairs! Breakfast served Francisco style! Vegan muffins and farmers market purchases from the day prior! Love it when they come!
Bless Milly’s heart, look at her placement in each picture!
Mom an di decided a last minute cookout would be fun for lunch so we headed to the grocery to make sure we got the essentials..
Ketchup for Billy… Duh. Flash back to Daddy’s Fathers day- since we’re on the daddy topic!
Dinner on the square, Italian style! Daddy loves to hide in our pics!
We wished our company off last weekend but not before a fun hike to Kennesaw mountain and get ready for this…. Tucker and Milly got invited!!!
They were THRILLED and so was mama- what a trooper that lady is to sit in the back with my hot hairy boy!!
I think Alex and I are still in shock at this point that our babies haven’t gotten into a fight yet… mind you we just got out the car and haven’t crossed paths with another dog yet… this is still a miracle! We had a great time and Tucker was such a trooper but we were all pooped once we got done!
Lastly, here are some randoms pics from the past few weeks with friends and my sister!
Tara has been working in Atlanta lately so we have gotten to have many play dates and dinners together and have LOVED every bit of it!
Friday night concert at the square could possibly be the cutest thing ever!
Sharing Lunch dates with Lou and Kayla has been too good to be true! makes the whole day better!
Flowers from Rachel and Andy’s yard! My fav! Oh and Kayla and Lou’s Monday night study sessions! (Yay to Kayla for making a 103 on her last test~!!!)
Love these ladies and La Fonda!
Well there ya go a random picture fest backed up from me taking SOOOO long on the St. Thomas blog! oops. Anyway! So happy to finally spend a weekend at home relaxing….maybe i will even get the July 4th post done!?!?!?!
